The VAULT 2019 photoshoot has caused a rift in the Claus marriage. Previously considered an ‘unbreakable marriage’, it was once described by Vanity Witch as one of the best examples that marriage does work. Sources claim that Santa Claus has been kicked out of the marital bed and has been sleeping at his brother Satan’s guest house.
The reason for the marital trouble? Mrs Claus is said to be ‘furious’ that Santa Claus went for a ‘friendly post-VAULT photoshoot drink’ with celebrity mermaid Veronica Swansea. Insisting that ‘nothing happened’ and that the drink was just ‘friendly’, Mrs Claus isn’t buying it after having seen how happy Santa was in the photos taken during the photoshoot.
In an official statement released to The Magical Reporter, Mrs Claus stated: “I knew they went for a drink and I believed my husband when he said it was ‘friendly’. But as soon as I saw the pictures and that massive smile on his face, there was just no way Ms Swansea’s intentions were friendly. Veronica, I know you’re out there hiding in an ocean somewhere. If I ever get my hands on you….”
And there you have it, some strong words from Mrs Claus herself. Santa Claus himself was unavailable for comment, but close friends say he is keeping a low profile and going to bed early.
When asked for a comment, a spokesperson for Veronica Swansea stated: “As was said all along, it was a friendly drink. Nothing more.”
