Fairies Olympics Games Committee complains about a new ban on magic powder

The Fairies Olympics Games Committee has officially complained to the Magical Games Organisation that its latest ban on fairy dust puts them at an unfair disadvantage when competing against other creatures like werewolves and leprechauns in a number of events at the Olympics.

A spokesperson for the Fairies said in a statement:

“Without our fairy dust, how will we even try to compete in the javelin competition?? And almost every other sport in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo? We are not ants who can carry up to 50 times our weight. The fairy dust did all the work! This is what humans call racist and discriminatory!”

When asked for a response to this complaint, a spokesperson for the Magical Creatures Organisation declared:

“It’s time for fairies to face reality that they should not rely on their magical fairy dust simply to ‘compete fairly’ with other creatures. Werewolves are inherently bigger creatures than fairies. We are not being ‘racist’ or ‘discriminating’. Fairies, get a grip.”

On that note the spokesperson was egged by a swarm of angry fairies and promptly ran into the safety of the Magical Creatures Headquarters.

The fairies are planning a protest in front of the United Nations for Magical and Non-Magical Creatures. To be continued….
