In a move hailed by The Movement for the Rights of Magical Creatures as ‘groundbreaking’, Uber has announced it will now include ‘UberCentaur’ as an option for people ordering transportation.
One centaur eager to sign up as a driver said: “Centaurs actually have an incredible advantage over cars: we can walk on pavements and skip traffic, and reach a top speed of 30mph. Plus, we’re cheap! What’s not to like?!”
In its official statement Uber declared: “We’re constantly looking at all our options and reviewing our services and prices. We found that offering ‘UberCentaur’ will enable us to stay competitive while ensuring that our customers get a fun, cheap and reliable way of getting him.”
Customers are advised not to confuse them horse and give carrots as tips. Centaurs prefer Apple Pay.
